Giovedì 16 giugno un tornado ha colpito una delle città più importanti della Cina, Guangzhou, causando gravi danni e feriti. Secondo Eric Wang, appassionato cinese di condizioni climatiche estreme, è la prima volta che un tornado entra in una città che ospita più di 16 milioni di abitanti. Guangzhou è stata interessata anche da un generale blackout e molti edifici commerciali sono stati colpiti e danneggiati dalla furia del vento. Ecco alcuni video.
