Extreme temperature rise in southwestern Europe: 30-32°C in Spain
The reinforcement of the high pressure system over the western Mediterranean Sea will bring a summer feeling between 17-18/03 with temperatures 6-8°C over the average for the period. In Iberia and France maximum temperatures could reach even 30-32°C in southern Spain especially between Valencia and Murcia. Portugal will also experience the heat wave reaching 25-27°C locally, while southern France will reach 23-25°C locally especially between Bordeaux and Toulouse. Much of southwestern Germany and Italy will also experience the temperature rise with maximum temperatures reaching 15-17°C and in Italy 19-21°C.
